3M is delighted to announce the launch of the 3M™ Corded Earplug Control System (CCS). It describes the unique built-in temple feature that allows you to attach a corded earplug into the temple of the protective eyewear.
This unique temple design controls and holds the cord of the earplug to keep it securely in place and untangled while in use.
The CCS is convenient for workers who are intermittently exposed to noisy area: when earplugs are not in use the CCS helps prevent the loss of the hearing protector.
Additionally, when earplugs are not in use, the CCS feature allows the corded earplugs to dual as a lanyard - a cord worn around the neck for carrying your protective eyewear.
