3M offer a range of double sided tapes and sealants that replace the need for using traditional rivets and welds which can be unsightly and time consuming. Production can increase by up to 70% when replacing traditional methods with a 3M solution.

Aluminium Roof Bonding
3M products can significantly reduce or even eliminate the need for rivets which results in more efficient manufacturing processes and decreases production time by as much as 35%.

Load-Lok™
Load-Lok™ is often bonded to the trailer using up to 50 rivets per metre. However, using a 3M tape such as 3M™ Double Coated Foam Tape 4611 reduces production time as no riveting is required and results in self jigging creating an instant fix.

Kick Strips
3M™ Tapes reduce or even eliminate the need for rivets in this application. Importantly, 3M tapes such as 3M™ VHB™ tape create a water resistant barrier that reduces the chance of water penetrating the truck interior therefore allowing Kick Strips to be applied to refrigerated trailers.

GRP Roof Bonding
Bottle necks can be reduced by bonding tape directly onto GRP roof-skins as opposed to encasing stiffener bars with wet GRP resin. With significantly less GRP contact, this allows a safer and cleaner process that can increase productivity by up to 70%.
