Bus and Coach Manufacturing 3M’s comprehensive range of adhesives, sealants and tapes offers the bus/coach industry both internal and external joint design solutions for structurally bonding and sealing components. These solutions can also reduce weight, noise, vibration, cost and improve productivity by removing the requirement for mechanical fasteners (screws, bolts, rivets, etc) and their associated preparation (drilling/punching holes, assembly tools, etc.) They can also replace welding and the refinishing work frequently required to provide an aesthetic surface finish after welding.

Bonding metal roofs to frame with 3M VHB Acrylic Foam Tapes or 3M Scotch-Weld Structural Adhesives.
Sealing roof bows with 3M Polyurethane and Hybrid Adhesive Sealants.
2) Direct Glazing
Bonding of windows and windscreens with 3M Polyurethane and Hybrid Adhesive Sealants.
3) External and Internal Panel Bonding
3M VHB Acrylic Foam Tapes and 3M Polyurethane and Hybrid Adhesive Sealants.
4) Floor Bonding
Bonding rubber and vinyl floors to metal or plywood panels with 3M Scotch-Weld Contact Adhesives, 3M Hybrid Adhesive Sealants or 3M Scotch-Weld 7231 Structural Adhesive.
5) Body Structure
3M Scotch-Weld Structural Adhesives and 3M Sprayable Hybrid Sealant.
6) Bonding Luggage Compartment Doors
Bonding stiffeners in luggage compartment doors with 3M VHB Acrylic Foam Tapes.
