Turn off PCs and monitors when not in use. The monitor uses twice as much energy as the PC.
Use an electronic booking system to minimise paper use where possible.
Turn off unnecessary lights overnight.
Choose minimally packaged products or ask your suppliers to supply products in less packaging.
Provide separate bins to segregate your waste and recycle.
Ensure that cleaning staff are in support of the recycling scheme and that emptying the recycling bins is part of their contracted work.
Close the loop and buy materials with recycled content.
