Glass Bubbles

Hollow glass microspheres with a high strength to density ratio. Lightweight but with a strength for processing survival. Potential enhancements include high filler loading, reduced warpage/shrinkage, sandability and more.

3M glass bubbles offer a variety of benefits to light weight, high-build elastomeric roof coatings, anti-condensation coatings. With their low density and high strength makes them ideal polymer additives for automotive, truck and aerospace components.

  • Average particle sizes range from 17 to 65 microns, and s.g. 0.6 to 0.12.
