CUNO water filters have given beverage machines an extra edge

Water filters from 3M CUNO were specified for the vending and beverage machines supplied by Sanden Vendo (UK) for their ease of fitting, keen prices and equipment protection as well as good customer service, and have added that beverage quality has been improved with removal of tastes, odours and scale from the water.

Since earlier this year, the company has employed a variety of 3M CUNO cartridge filters from the AP3 to P195 range for different products, using the VH3 filter head platform incorporating shut-off and pressure release valves of special value to vending and beverage operators.

Filter type and size used in the head is selected to suit local conditions such as water hardness and other end-user requirements. These include a ‘taste-and-odour-only’ filter such as the AP3 765 for soft water areas and ScaleGard filter for hard water.

Sanden Vendo now recommends the use of 3M CUNO filters on all the beverage equipment it supplies and says that they are more reliable with fitting such a quality filter. The company manufactures vending machines and coolers and distributes beverage machines including the Ducale and Bianchi brands serving a range of drinks from Freshbrew coffee to soluble-based hot drinks such as chocolate and tea.
