Primer Preparation
Key around the repair prior to applying Etch Primer

Step 1

Key around the repair using a 3M™ Hookit™ Abrasive Disc P320/P500. Awkward areas can be sanded by hand using Scotch-Brite Hand Pads 07447 or Scotch-Brite™ Pre-Cut 07904.

Wipe on Wipe off Spirit Wipe to prepared areas

Step 2

Blow off excess dust. Wipe on Wipe off Spirit Wipe to prepared areas.

 
Apply masking as required

Step 3

Apply masking as required.

Move vehicle into primer booth and complete masking stage

Step 4

Move vehicle into primer booth and complete masking stage.

 
Tack area prior to primer application

Step 5

Tack area prior to primer application.

Apply Primer according to paint company recommendations to repairs

Step 6

Apply Primer according to paint company recommendations to repairs, keeping spray area to a minimum and avoiding hard edges. Dry to paint company recommendation.
