 16. Jan. 2013 In this video, 3M demonstrates the characteristics and extraordinary behaviour of its high-performance plastic Dyneon PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) material. In contrast to conventional plastics, the material can withstand temperatures of up to 375 degrees Celsius. Rather than melt, PTFE behaves elastically and the video shows how it can be made into different shapes nonetheless.
