Fluoropolymer Membranes.
Applied to opening up new perspectives and flexible and dazzling designs in construction and architecture.

In their search for new means of expression, architects have discovered the world of opportunities presented by the use of fluoropolymer membranes. Translucent and transparent membranes permit freedom of design and shape in a way that no other material can offer. Rigid structures with clear barrier outlines are no longer required. Self-supporting shapes that are curved within space can be interpreted in ever more new ways. Light becomes a design element in itself, able to be used in an experimental and even playful fashion, lending different visual forms and aspects to the same building.

Our goal is to team up with converting companies in order to develop comprehensive solutions involving specific materials and provide individual technical support in implementing them. This will enable us to open up new possibilities for spatial design with membrane-based architecture, using highly developed technologies, innovative thinking and 3M™ Dyneon™ raw materials.

  • Translucency of 0–25 %
  • Weights of between 500 and 2,000 g/sqm
  • Cost-effective due to long lifetime and self-cleaning surface
  • Weather and UV resistant
  • Fire classification A2 according DIN 4102 (depending on the membrane structure)
  • Wide temperature range in use
  • Large colour range
