Al Maha launch new station identity across Oman with 3M specified materials

Al Maha is a leading company in Oman, expanding rapidly since privatisation in 2004. Currently it has the largest petrol service station network in the country. In 2009, Al Maha commenced a review of its brand strategy in light of increasing competition. Working with Circle, a leading branding consultancy, 3M Brand solutions were tested and specified for the new retail identity programme.

BP ‘Better Bathrooms’ programme based on customer experience surveys!

BP Europe, in liaison with consultancy Aecom, implemented a customer survey across their service station and convenience store network to identify customer attitudes towards different branding aspects - from signage and lighting to foods and beverages, to pump dispensers, seating areas and toilet facilities. An important discovery was the perceived lack of attention being given to customer bathrooms and toilets facilities by staff and how this was negatively affecting the whole experience.

GS Caltex switch to better quality 3M material solution for their canopy sign identity in South Korea.

GS Caltex needed to seek a new material specification for its long term retail sign identity due to fading and other issues. Working with 3M South Korea and their fabricator partners, a higher quality 3M specification has been rolled out across the national network of 240 service stations.

Two years ago the oil company decided to change their image. Their agency designed a new look including a special colour need for the petrol stations. 3M was able to take this challenge and the customized colours were produced.

When Shell decided to review and update their successful ”Retail Visual Image” during 2006, they wanted to improve both the design and reduce the build and maintenance costs per service Station forecourt.

SK Petroleum choose 3M Specification on Service Station Network rebrand across South Korea.

SK Petroleum, the Oil and Gas Company, operating out of Seoul in South Korea decided in late 2010 to review and update their brand identity across their network of over 2,500 service stations working with a detailed and defined material specification from 3M.

Sahel Petroleum works closely with 3M Saudi-Arabia to launch new visual identity.

Sahel Petroleum has rebranded its service station network across Saudi Arabia, working closely with Circle design in London and 3M in Saudi Arabia to specify a range of warranted, quality materials able to withstand the harsh desert climate.
