HSBC, one of the world’s most well-known brands, have recently extended their high profile programme of branding and
advertising at airports with a range of new signage, advertising and powerful graphic images targeting business air
travellers.
Working with their global advertising agency, JWT and their specialist project managers, The Corporate Connection
Partnership Limited, they contacted specified material supplier, 3M, for technical advice on the best way to optimise
visual appearance quality and durability and to gain a better understanding of new technologies that could help them to
enhance the branding campaign on both the inside and outside of jet bridges across their increasing global network of
airport locations.
The technical specification of the materials and their ability to meet the stringent regulations laid down by Airport
Authorities, coupled with the desire by HSBC to have an all-encompassing warranty from 3M, led to a period of material
selection and testing and prototyping, prior to programme execution.
