The new BMW 'MINI' headquarters in Rijswijk in the Netherlands needed major rebuilding and restyling in order to meet the high standards in quality and representation required by the German automobile manufacturer. MINI.
Part of the BMW Group Netherlands, Mini bought their new headquarters after the building had been vacant for a couple of years and therefore a significant amount of rebuilding was needed.
Amongst many other aspects, the grey side panels that clad the outside of the building need to be 'MINI-style' black.
Following consultation, sampling and field testing, an innovative new window frame wrapping solution from 3M Netherlands, with a ten year guarantee on colour fastness and adhesion, was chosen to achieve the desired premium look.
