Multi-Purpose Sealer - Utilising hybrid technology, 3M's new beige multi-purpose sealer enables you to create a variety of seam sealing finishes, including sprayed, extruded, and brushed seams, with the additional option of using it as a stonechip coating to match a variety of finishes found on today's vehicles. It can be overpainted with waterbased paint systems almost immediately, so offers faster processing times and productivity gains. If left for more than 24 hous, the product may need to be abraded lightly with 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ to guarantee pain adhesion.
Hybrid Range - If you just need an extruded seam but also need wet on wet paintability, this is the product for you. 3M's hybrid caulkable sealer offers productivity gains and a variety of coloursif required (black, white and grey). It is supplied in a durable plastic cartridge with a dedicated nozzle. Like the multi-purpose product, this range can be painted over almost immediately, but may need to be abraded lightly with Scotch-Brite if left for more than 24 hours.
Polyurethane Sealer Range - 3M's comprehensive range of polyurethane seam sealers offer a variety of packaging and colour options for all your seam sealing needs. If you're looking for a cost effective sealing method and ae less concerned with wet on wet paintability and faster processing times, this is the range for you. These products can be painted over once the skin is fully formed. This will vary depending on the temperature you are working in but should be between 20 and 45 minutes.
