	RFID Tags RFID tags let you accurately identify and track your library materials. Information about the item is stored in a tiny memory chip, and the tags are rewriteable, so you don’t have to buy new ones when you change the information.
	Conversion Stations These units rapidly convert item IDs from traditional bar codes to RFID tags. There’s no need to connect it to your automated circulation system, and the cart enables usage right in the stacks. It can also be used to reprogram tag information.
	Digital Library Assistant This cordless handheld device reads 3M RFID Tags on books and other materials, and makes shelf reading, re-shelving, sorting, searching, weeding and exception-finding much easier and more efficient.
	Staff Workstation Model 946 Combines barcode scanning and security into one operation, improving workplace efficiency and ergonomics. It processes both barcodes and RFID tags, and can perform smaller scale barcode-to-RFID conversions.
	Pad Staff Workstation Model 895 This unit processes barcodes and RFID tags, programs and reprograms RFID tags, and performs barcode-to-RFID conversions.
	SelfCheck™ Systems Introduced in 1992, 3M’s SelfCheck™ Systems have been continually enhanced to meet the changing needs of libraries. If, at the end of 12 months from shipdate, the library is not satisfied with the performance of the equipment, 3M will accept the equipment back and offer a full refund of the original invoiced price, excluding the cost of the 3M RFID Tags and Tattle-Tape™.

Some 3M 2300 Detection Systems have been experiencing false alarms due to magnetic material in the construction of some brands of 3-ring binders. 3M is aware of the issue and currently does not have a fix. If your library has been experiencing false alarms, please confirm if they are caused by 3-ring binders. Technician visits are chargeable if a technician arrives on site and determines that the false alarms are caused by 3-ring binders. The technician will not be able to remedy the issue at this time.
