Financial Support

3M’s Community Giving charitable allocations are reviewed once a year in September. Long-term partnerships with organizations that complement our areas of interest have been developed to allow us to focus our giving and maximize results. Unsolicited proposals for financial support are seldom funded. For guidelines and how to apply click here.

Product Support

While 3M is always willing to receive a product donation request, there is a limited quantity of products available to fulfill these types of requests.

3M’s focused giving strategy means that we will consider requests for product first from organizations that meet our charitable giving requirements (Education, Health and Human Services and Arts and Culture).

Product Inventory/Timing

The type of product in our product donation inventory is constantly changing. That’s why we review each request on an individual basis and initially require 10 business days to review your application. If we are able to fulfill your specific product donation request, we require an additional four weeks to meet our commitment to your organization.
