Intrinsic pre-setting hydrophilicity helps capture and reproduce outstanding detail.
Aquasil™ impression material displayed a higher contact angle initially than the polyether Impregum Penta Soft impression material. In a clinical practice, intrinsic hydrophilicity means that polyether is hydrophilic right from the start of mixing—when it is clinically important.
