Impregum™ Penta™ Soft Heavy Body/Light Body Polyether Impression Material

Impregum™ Penta™ Soft Heavy Body/Light Body Polyether Impression Material

With impression materials, the better the detail, the more accurate the final restoration. Introducing Impregum™ Penta™ Soft Heavy Body/Light Body Impression Material, a precision polyether impression material that is accurate and hydrophilic, resulting in outstanding detail even in a moist environment, right from the start of mixing.

product information

Impregum Penta Soft HB/LB impression material offers all the qualities you’ve come to expect from the trusted Impregum family: precision fit, easy handling and use, and predictable snap-setting and thixotropic benefits. Additionally, the Soft technology makes the material less rigid for easier removal from the mouth while improving the taste for better patient satisfaction.

The new heavy body/light body viscosities are used together in a one-step/two viscosity technique, and are ideal for crown and bridge as well as inlay/onlay and functional impressions.

Intrinsic pre-setting hydrophilicity helps capture and reproduce outstanding detail.

Aquasil™ impression material displayed a higher contact angle initially than the polyether Impregum Penta Soft impression material. In a clinical practice, intrinsic hydrophilicity means that polyether is hydrophilic right from the start of mixing—when it is clinically important.

Optimal thixotropic properties for precise detail reproduction and easy handling.

The great flow properties of Impregum™ Penta™ Soft Impression Material help provide superior accuracy and easy handling.

Snap-setting characteristic provides for a rapid transition to the set phase while allowing sufficient working time.

The snap set of Impregum™ Penta™ Soft Impression Material assures a precise-fitting final restoration without distortion.

Automatic mixing and dispensing with the Pentamix™ 2 Mixing Unit. The job is made easier with the PentaMatic™ AutoOpen System—a mixing system that allows assistants to automatically mix and dispense perfectly homogeneous and void-free impression material at the touch of a button.
